Classroom Driver Improvement and RADEP
All classroom sessions are $100 cash only per class.
Complete 12-Hour Classroom RADEP requires two registrations. Register separately for Part 1 and Part 2. Complete the 8-hour component before attending Part 2. The sessions may be on different dates or at different locations.

How do I know whether I need an 8-, 12-, or 4-hour course?
Standard Driver Improvement is 8 hours. Complete RADEP is 12 hours. The 4-hour Supplemental RADEP course is for students with an acceptable previous 8-hour component. Follow your official paperwork.
Does a reckless driving charge automatically mean I need RADEP?
No. Your charge alone does not establish the required educational course. Follow your court order, attorney directions, or referring-authority instructions.
Do all Virginia courts accept online RADEP?
No. Acceptance varies. Verify that the specific online course and provider meet your court's requirements before purchasing.
What does Spanish-accessible mean?
The original course is in English. Google Translate can display compatible course content in Spanish after course entry. Automatic translation is not the same as a Spanish-authored course. Customer service is English-only.
Can I take only the 4-hour RADEP course if I already completed Driver Improvement?
Potentially. A qualifying 8-hour Driver Improvement certificate may satisfy Part 1. Confirm acceptance with your court or referring authority.
How do I register for complete 12-Hour Classroom RADEP?
Submit two separate registrations. The 8-hour Driver Improvement session is Part 1 and the 4-hour RADEP session is Part 2. Each classroom session costs $100 cash, for $200 total.
Does RADEP automatically award five Virginia DMV points?
No. Online 12-hour RADEP and 4-hour Supplemental RADEP do not award +5 DMV points. Point eligibility for regular 8-hour Driver Improvement depends on the attendance reason and DMV rules.
Do these courses satisfy special CDL Driver Improvement requirements?
No. These regular courses do not replace a commercial-driver-specific Driver Improvement Clinic required by Virginia DMV.
I failed the Virginia DMV knowledge test three times. Is this the right class?
Not necessarily. Three knowledge-test failures may require the separate Virginia 8-Hour Driver's Manual Course. That program is different from standard Driver Improvement and RADEP.
