What Suffolk Drivers Should Know
Before Choosing a Class
One common mistake is assuming that every
serious traffic case calls for the same course.
An eight-hour Driver Improvement Clinic
may satisfy the requirement in your paperwork,
or it may be only the first component
of a twelve-hour RADEP requirement.
Always match the course to the exact
wording from DMV, the court, or your attorney.
If your paperwork says Driver Improvement
The standard Virginia Driver Improvement
Clinic is eight hours.
Do not automatically purchase twelve-hour
RADEP if only Driver Improvement is required.
If your paperwork says 12-Hour RADEP
The complete classroom pathway requires
an acceptable eight-hour Part 1 and
a separate four-hour RADEP Part 2.
If you have a pending Suffolk traffic case
Taking a class does not guarantee a charge
reduction, dismissal, or particular result.
Confirm your course and certificate requirements.
