Your Previous Certificate Is Accepted
Driver Training Solutions accepts qualifying Virginia Driver Improvement certificates from other schools. Your court or referring authority must also accept the previous completion toward your requirement.

Online Part 2 Is Permitted
If classroom instruction, a specific provider, or another format is required, do not substitute the online course without approval.

What Should You Do With Your Prior 8-Hour Certificate and New 4-Hour RADEP Certificate?
Course completion and complying with the referring authority's proof-of-completion instructions are separate responsibilities.
Your Previous 8-Hour Certificate
Keep a copy of the qualifying Driver Improvement certificate. The court or referring authority may require it to establish credit for RADEP Part 1.
Your New 4-Hour RADEP Certificate
After completing all online course requirements, the supplemental certificate is processed and sent by email. Submit it as directed for your case.
